Mike founded and led the  Drama Club  that put on two productions a year (a play and a musical.)  Mike left Abby Kelley in 2015 and became the Technical Director at The Rashi School, a Pre-K to 8 school.  Here Mike left the daily classroom, but added more productions to his plate.  He was responsible for the lighting, sound, scenic, and projection elements for 15 shows a year as well as providing technical support for all event held at the school, including weekly services.

While at Rashi, Mike was recruited to join the Massachusetts Educational Theatre Guild.  Mike has served on the Middle School Division Council and is currently the Vice President of the Middle School Division.  As part of his work with the METG, Mike visits schools around the state and helps them with getting their existing technical systems working, training teachers how to use the systems they have, and advising schools on system upgrades.  He also helps trains the next generations of technicians by leading technical workshops each year through the METG.

Currently, Mike is the Lighting and Sound Supervisor for Merrimack Repertory Theatre in Lowell, Massachusetts.  Here he is responsible to taking the lighting, sound, and projections plots provided by designers and implementing them before technical rehearsals start.  Most of this work involves analyzing the plots and comparing needs against the current inventory, securing rentals, hiring crew to hang the plots, and testing the systems to ensure everything is ready and working for the designers.  Mike is also responsible for maintaining the supplies and inventory of MRT.
